Customer Reviews
First time dining at this establishment, I had read the mixed reviews..some stating that the portions were small and overpriced. But I went with an open mind. I was very surprised from the moment we walked in, the place is cozy and beautifully decorated. Our server Basil was AMAZING, the service was exceptional! He explained the menu to us and threw in some recommendations. We had ordered 5 dishes which we shared amongst the 4 of us. Each dish satisfied our taste buds, and filled our stomachs. The entire bill was $213.00 including 2 drinks and before tip. Looking forward to going back and sitting on the patio.
It's a very popular restaurant that really opened my eyes to the less well-know cuisine. Both the food, and the service was great - and although we sat outside, the atmosphere inside was also quite nice. I got the strawberry latte with edible straw which was a good start to the brunch. I also got the full Afghan platter which had lamb sausages, eggs, beans, eggplants, and some green onion pancakes. They didn't skimp on portions and the taste was outstanding. The lamb and eggplant eggs benny were also a highlight for me and get two-thumbs-up recommendation. I would love to come back to try other items on the menu. They get very busy so be ready to wait or book a reservation.
The food and service were amazing. My partner and I felt really taken care of. The flavours were warm and it was great to share a variety of foods. The art and the aesthetic was very immersive. I'm excited to come back here again with a group of people so we can share lots of different meals. I also appreciate that there was a lot of thought put into the non-alcoholic drinks as well. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant out.
