I took my wife for dinner here last night for our wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful evening. Our server Vlad was friendly and checked on us a couple of times to make sure everything was how we wanted things. We found out later that evening that it was his first shift. Whoever did the interview for this guy for the job didn’t go wrong on the proverbial 1st round draft class. We had the Burrata and Prosciutto to start with and that was good. But I have to say the braised short ribs dish and the short ribs pasta was another level. It’s a must try, amazingly tender and tasty. I make short ribs at home, but it doesn’t taste anything like what we had here 😋

Been to Trattoria many times and always been impressed with the service and food quality. My server today was absolutely phenomenal. She has been at Trattoria Burnaby for many years and still has a smile on her face. I also had the pleasure to meet and chat with one of the owners , Michael. What a humble , honest , generous person. I can understand why the atmosphere is so positive here all the time. 😊

went in with my girlfriends for happy hour. got a sangria pitcher, pasta platter and bruschetta. everything was delicious and portions were really good! staff (especially the owner) were really friendly and had amazing hospitality. would recommend and come back.
