A Fairy-Tale Beginning

Once upon a time, vegetarian options were scarce. Three brave Swiss brothers, Christian, Daniel, and Reto Frei, dared to dream of a fresh and delicious vegetarian buffet. With the guidance of Rolf Hiltl, owner of the legendary Haus Hiltl, they opened the first tibits in 2000.

A United Vision

Today, tibits has grown to 11 locations in Switzerland and 1 in Germany, still closely tied to the Hiltl family. Together, they share a passion for innovative vegetarian and vegan cuisine.

Good surprise. Good food and cosy ambience - wide range of salad bar -- very tasty 😋 - prices are normal with the region. - large variety of drinks and cocktails - suitable for families and couples. I wouldn't, however, come here for a first date.
The place was really busy at lunch time, however, there’s enough seating for everyone. There’s also beautiful outdoor seating near the train station. I have never found a restaurant listing all allergens - including onion and garlic. All the items were accurately marked with the allergens and also, more details as plant protein, kidney friendly, less sugar, etc. Food and ambience was really good too
Delicious vegetarian self-sevice 😋 Lots of variety of well-prepared and tasty foods. Payment is by weight.
