Customer Reviews

Excellent! Wonderful spot for lunch or dinner. Friendly staff and great food. Pan fried cod was great prepared well. Generous portions. Our group ordered chowder, fish & chips, big Brigus, onion rings, burger, tacos and fish cakes. The restaurant was packed, which meant slower service, but we expected that from the start. Well staffed. Don’t leave without trying the crumble with a Jumping Bean coffee. Nothing here is going to blow your mind, just really good food with generous portions surrounded by the most wonderful people, and in a picturesque town to boot.
Just came from there. Had the onion soup, fish tacos and blueberry crisp. We are well travelled, New York, Vegas, Maui, London, Paris, San Francisco and numerous travels across Canada. I don’t hesitate to put this meal among the top two or three I have had anywhere Value for the price, it was #1. The service stands alone at #1. It was so nice to hear our server give full credit to the kitchen staff for making her job so easy. That is teamwork at its best. Well done. Change nothing
We enjoyed a fabulous dinner here, before checking out the quaint village of Brigus. Parking was easy, right across the street. Service was very quick, and very friendly. I had the pan fried cod with mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was the best cod I had during my entire vacation in Newfoundland. I can highly recommend it.
