The pulse of Gastown has to be The Old Spaghetti Factory, a building that has quite literally stood the test of time, still attracting customers to this day as easily as they did a decade ago. Yes, that's how long I've been frequenting this establishment. Long enough for them to exile my favorite Spaghetti With Clam Sauce dish, which I still mourn to this day. Of course I've found a replacement dish, but nothing beats your first love. That Spaghetti With Clam Sauce was the first dish I ever tried at Old Spaghetti Factory, so it carries a special place in my heart.
Found this place on the water st and one of the most pocket friendly places. They have all included menu where the mains are served with sourdough bread and butter, soup and icecream at the end. Its wholesome. We also got some beer and wings - wings were average their house barbecue sauce was too sweet and not that great. Overall a good experience but the food quality can be better!
Great service !! Our server was very attentive. We were served almost right away with a delicious loaf of warm bread and butter. The mussels are so delicious and fresh. The sauce is just right. We also opted for a classic bowl of pasta and it was perfect. This is a great spot for a quick bite to eat, family dinner or date night. We will definitely be back!
