Customer Reviews

The place is perfect, never expected a hotel restaurant to be this good. The ambiance is very nice, the staff is pefect and attentive, the food just perfect. The 59€ menu is great value for money, the navette was cooked perfect, the dessert delicious. Highly recommend this place.
Very few places in Amsterdam open at 7am. Hidden off the main streets, we actually walked by it and had to backtrack. It’s a lovely setting, though no view outside to distract you from the detail oriented food you’re about to receive, like the little cube of coffee cake that comes on the saucer of your macchiato and the quenelle of crème fraiche with the pancakes. The pancakes had the crispy edges, stacked tall and moist with either banana and bacon or blueberry compote (they ran out after my order for the day). Maple syrup is poured on the plate, which is what I’m going to do from now on at home. The Eggs Benedict was so soft and felt luxurious in texture and flavor with ample amount of cured salmon and jammy poached eggs covered with a blanket of hollandaise.
This restaurant is perfect if you’re looking for a rather fancy restaurant with a homey feel in the middle of Amsterdam. They have only a couple of menu options but that’s a good thing because everything tastes great. They are very facilitating towards gluten free options. The staff is great and they have good wines.
