Our Story

Founded in 2002 by Roger Newton, The Canadian Brewhouse has grown from a single location in Edmonton to a nationally recognized brand with over 40 locations across Canada.

Our Vision

To be the place where people want to be, where sports fans and friends can gather to enjoy great food, drinks, and sports in a welcoming atmosphere.

Our History

2002: First location opens in West Edmonton
2007: Second location opens in North Edmonton
2009: Third location opens in South Edmonton
2010: First location outside of Edmonton opens in Sherwood Park
2011-2022: Rapid expansion across Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario
2024: Continued growth with new locations in Kamloops, Kitchener, Windsor, and Mississauga

First time coming here and I will definitely be back! The drinks were awesome and our server Daphne was amazing. She was super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience even better

Today was a very special day for me and we decided to celebrate the day with the Great Canadian Burger Challenge. We were 3 and none of us could finish it but it was so much fun! The burger was so tasty and grilled patties made a huge difference! While we were waiting for our bill and I mentioned our server that why we chose this challenge… She was extremely kind and gave me a complimentary chocolate cake to share today’s happiness with me🥹😱! I couldn’t catch her name but I hope she reads this, I am so grateful for your kindness 🙏🏻 Additionally, it was a game day and the atmosphere was so nice too! We will definitely go back for the other menu items for sure, especially for the double nachos😍

Have gone to quite a few different CBH’s and one of the best experiences I e had was at the Kelowna location after visiting recently. The energy of our server Daphne was quite refreshing and fun and wait time was minimal for food and drink! I definitely look forward to my next visit!
