In 2013, construction began on Northern Lights Estate Winery (NLEW), a division of Family Fast Foods Ltd., aiming to establish itself as the northernmost winery in British Columbia. Nestled along the Nechako River and positioned at the foot of Prince George’s iconic cutbanks, we officially opened our doors in 2015. Since then, NLEW has flourished into BC’s largest fruit winery. Our sprawling property not only houses our winemaking facilities but also vast orchards that yield the fruits—gooseberries, raspberries, apples, rhubarb, black currants, cherries, and blueberries—that form the essence of our wines. Every bottle proudly showcases the flavors of these locally grown fruits sourced from our own farms and partner growers across the province.
