What a super hidden gem! Our server was kind, friendly and very genuine. We were treated like family. That is very hard to find these days and we greatly appreciated it. The food was spectacular. Everything was fresh, incredibly tasty and fast. Although we had A little bit of spice in our dishes, you were still able to taste all different ingredients - not just the spice. The menu had wonderful variety and is easy to navigate through. It also has great dishes for vegans. We had an assortment of smaller appetizers to start. I ordered the mango chicken. VERY tasty!!
The non-veg thali at this Indian restaurant was a delightful experience, offering a tantalizing array of flavors and textures. Overall, it's a must-try for anyone craving a hearty and satisfying taste of traditional Indian cuisine.
We have been meaning to write this review for a while. We have ordered takeaway from Taaz quite a few times now. The food is always good and the service is great! The Chicken Tikka is well seasoned and juicy, not dry. The vegetable pakoras are spot on. For the mains we have had Chicken Tikka Masala, chicken Kadai, Lamb Jalfrezie and chicken Korma. All are very good, with good sized chunks of boneless chicken breast that has been marinaded before cooking in the sauce. The Korma was a real surprise. Most Kormas tend to be one note, but this one has a great depth of flavour and a nice richness. Thoroughly enjoyable. The service is always great and the food is ready when they say it will be. Spice levels are more pronounced than other "canadianized" restaurants, but not for the sake of heat. The heat levels accentuate the flavours and work really well. We consider Taaz to be our "go to" place here in Kelowna. We enjoy Indian food and have eaten it in many different countries, this is a great find locally here in Kelowna...
