Customer Reviews

The Flemish stew, although super tasty was cold. This might be because they had to wait for the waterzooi stew, a traditional stew from Ghent. This one was piping hot. Both very delicious. The service was good. The place was packed, as you would expect for food like this.
Great simple traditional food in a beautiful setting. Thanks to the waiter recommendation, we tried a really nice beer! Good prices, nice service.
't Kelderke in Brussels is a fantastic spot! I had the Carbonnade à la Flamande, frites, and a Grimbergen Blonde, and everything was delicious. The bread was so good, it reminded me of cornbread without the sweetness. We opted to sit outside in the cool July weather because it was too noisy inside.Although they were out of their famous horse steak, which was a disappointment for some in our party, the staff was very attentive. Sitting outside was a great choice, as we could enjoy the atmosphere without the indoor noise. The only thing missing was a horse steak. I guess that night, the horses ran faster than the chefs!
