Customer Reviews

I recently dined at Saint John Ale House, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience. The food was nothing short of amazing, and each dish left a lasting impression. Starting with the Wings, they were incredibly fresh and flavorful. They were so tasty that they didn’t even need any additional sauce, which is a testament to their perfect seasoning and preparation. The Oysters, while a bit on the pricey side, were absolutely worth every penny. Fresh and succulent, they provided a delightful taste of the sea that was simply unforgettable. The Fish and Chips were another highlight of the meal. The fish was fresh, encased in a superbly light and non-oily batter. The chips were crispy and cooked to perfection, and the accompanying tartar sauce was a delicious addition that enhanced the dish beautifully. To complement the fantastic food, the drinks were equally good, offering a refreshing balance to the rich flavors of the dishes. Overall, Saint John Ale House delivered an outstanding dining experience with top-notch food and great drinks. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal.
Wow, just wow, this must be the reason why so many people live in Canada. For this restaurant right here. Never in my life have I experienced such staggering service. We came from a late night drive and lamentably arrived 10 minutes before the restaurant closed, but with that the super nice and remarkable host still let us in with open arms and she was avid to give us a warm and welcoming feast so she sat us at a phenomenal table with an astounding view. We settled down and Caleb quickly and neatly came out. Caleb is the best server I’ve had in my whole life. Very nice and charming despite us arriving so close to the closing time. The food was very quick and the mashed potatoes were the most renounced, creamiest, palatable set of mashed potatoes that I’ve ever had. And the chicken tenders and fries were nothing like I’ve ever had, it’s indescribable how pleased and lucky I felt knowing that I was in that moment there, at a captivating restaurant with prodigious service. We finished up and Caleb had an eminent conversation with my parents abt where were from and then after that he escorted us out of the restaurant. No one has ever done that. I Would recommend this place to everyone and anyone. Please come here. My life will never be the same.
Very comfortable and welcoming place. Right on the water front, but there is construction right now so no outside seating. Nice menu, not overwhelming but something for everyone. We had the chowder, the mussels and fries, and the burger. Food was phenomenal. Everything was expertly seasoned and prepared. Enjoyed a red wine flight, which was a bargain, with three very good selections to savor. A gin and tonic variation was also just right. Service was fun and friendly. Prices very reasonable for the quality and quantity.
