Very good service, authentic Chinese food, REAL authentic, if you’re looking for mainland Chinese cuisine, this will be the one and only one in Nanaimo. For appetizers I would recommend chicken with scallion oil. It is moist and very tender chicken. Slice pork with orange sauce and the pork hock was AWESOME! Best dessert in the restaurant in my opinion would be the sesame balls.

Would definitely recommend this place Often overlooked in Value village but is a good lunchin spot in my opinion. The Braised pork with Garlic sauce was great ! Loved it with plain rice ! Dan dan noodles was new for me !! Mapu Tofu was so soft ! Would love to explore more option on the menu but it’s a 5 for me on the first visit !

Saw the pictures. Investigated in it. And found they had pictures of authentic dishes hidden between the America-Chinese food. Order these 3 dishes in the pictures & Peking Duck. Trust me. 10/10 from me (Chinese person). Please respect Chinese cuisine and stop ordering chicken balls and chicken fried rice. So everything shown on the pictures on the walls are authentic Chinese dishes. If it's not on the wall, it's a American dish. Pro-tip. Would return 💯. This place is better than anywhere in Victoria. It matches the caliber of Toronto and Vancouver. I didn't try the chicken ball and sweet sour chicken , orange chicken and general Tsao, please stop ordering that stuff.
