Customer Reviews

Food never disappoint us! We ordered some same dishes we had last year when we visited Munich. We ordered salad tower, dumpling soup, goulash, tomato pasta and cheese pasta. Still very delicious, however all menu items have increased in price. Most of the staffs are nice, some are not so friendly. We coincidentally were escorted to same table as last year! We enjoyed the atmosphere and food very much. Highly recommended. You need to book a table as it’s a popular restaurant which is always full house.
While we were on holiday in Munich, we wanted to experience authentic German cuisine, so a family member recommended a restaurant to us. The restaurant had a menu book with various food options, and we took our time to find what we wanted to try, although it was a bit challenging. Eventually, we ordered several dishes, and we loved all of them. The staff provided fantastic service, and the restaurant had a beautiful, historic ambiance.
Traditional Bavarian restaurant. We had the Ratskeller potato soup, which was good and hearty; the pinsa, which tasted like pizza pretty much but it still good; the Bavarian Heaven Himmelsglück, which was pretty ok; the sauerbraten specialty, which i liked the potato dumpling a lot more but the sauerbratenw was pretty heavy; and the bratwurst sampler, which gave a taste of everything and i liked that. For dessert we had the apfelstrudel––good dessert!
