Customer Reviews

Our meal featured traditional Irish dishes that were nothing short of spectacular, with the Cottage Pie being the highlight. This hearty dish offered savory comfort with its rich filling and creamy mashed potato topping. The fish and chips were perfectly battered and crispy. Another standout was the Slow Cooked Beef in Guinness beer and red wine, tender and rich with deep flavors. For dessert, the apple crumble and bread pudding were perfect finales – sweet, tart, and warmly spiced. Service was excellent, despite the bustling environment. With the restaurant packed and a long line outside, booking a table in advance is essential. The Old Mill delivers an authentic taste of Ireland in a cozy setting, making it a must-visit.
We had dinner at the Old Mill restaurant on our last evening in Dublin and I must say it was a great discovery. Very small place but with a complete menu, abundant and very tasty courses, I recommend 1 course each because the starters are also very abundant. We had booked a table via Google but there is no need, as there is still a queue at the entrance, but the tables free up quite quickly. Average prices but more generous servings. I recommend cottage pie, very tasty.
My friend and I decided to dine at Old Mill after being recommended to dine there at least once. I'm so glad we went to Old Mill in Temple Bar . Staff were so helpful and kind. It was an amazing experience especially since everything was great. I went for the Traditional Irish stew with a pint of Guinness. My friend went for the Old Mill Trio, a vegetarian soup paired with garlic bread and cheese and chips. The portions were also generous. We ended up sharing a dessert - the baileys cheesecake, which was also amazing . I'd definitely recommend this place for the authentic Irish pub experience and the delicious food.
