Customer Reviews

Not only is the pizza amazing, the ingredients are always fresh and if possible local. The last time I was there, the tables were decorated with seasonal flowers and there was a chanterelle pizza - what a classic New Brunswick experience! Even after years of eating at the restaurant, I never get tired of the pizza. They keep switching up their specials to reflect seasonal, local produce. Also, how on earth can the Caesar salad be vegan and taste so perfect? I also like picking up their warm croissants at the farmers market for a treat on Saturday morning.
It's only gotten better. While it is very out of the way, that's part of their café location's charm. The fire of the oven radiates next to the fresh baked sourdough with the buzz of staff baking away and serving customers. It's quaint and cool and charming. The food has stayed incredible. I can't believe there's a place in Fredericton to get proper honey cake! It's been since my time in Russia and China since I've seen any. Also, their apple tart gave me Ratatouille movie vibes. In biting into the cinnamon filled apple mixed on top of gingerbread crust, it instantly transported me back to childhood Christmas times stoking the fire and watching movie such as Muppet Family Christmas. One of the best overall spots in town.
What a peaceful gem located in the middle of a neighbourhood. I have not eaten at Milda’s since she opened this Charlotte Street location, previously had only visited her at the market. I have always enjoyed her margarita pizza. This restaurant uses in-season ingredients so it is not always an option to order it. I saw it was available tonight and rushed over for supper! The mozzarella to tomato ratio is absolutely perfect! The cafe is licensed and sells beer and wine, in addition to some sparkling water and juice options. Treated myself to a piece of chocolate cake, which I enjoyed while I waited for my pizza to bake 😉. Once I parked, I wasn’t quite sure where I was going but followed the signs which start outside to the left of the building. As the restaurant is located in the basement of an older facility, I am unsure whether it is fully accessible from the side entrance - I went up about 7 stairs and descended about 10, and some spots are narrow. Milda’s at CSAC is an absolutely lovely spot with vegan and vegetarian options along with some GF-sensitive! Staff were verrrry friendly and respectful. This is a cafe style setup, and you put your own used dishes on a tray on your way out. Accepts cash or debit only. Would definitely return! As I was driving out, I saw there are picnic tables in the back garden.
