Customer Reviews

We managed to sit down without a reservation, which is apparently not very common. We had great stew and steak tartare, and the beer selection was interesting. I must highlight the very attentive and friendly service, they really made our lunch enjoyable - we only ordered one starter and the second was brought to us free of charge as a courtesy from the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.
We had a reservation at 7:30 pm which was necessary. The entrance to the restaurant is a bit confusing. We sat at the window so for our whole dining experience we realized we weren’t the only ones who got confused by this as well. Anyways we were seated, got our drinks ordered right away which was a Fuze Tea Peach, Cristal Alken Beer, and Grimbergen Beer. For a starter we ordered Shrimp Croquettes, this was one of the best croquettes I’ve had. For the main course we ordered the Mussels Marinière (onions, celery, parsley, carrots, leeks) with Belgian fries, the Beef Carbonnade (stew) with Belgian fries and Rabbit leg with Northern cherries and sautéed potatoes. The food took quite a while to get out, it did seem as if the kitchen was really backed up, felt bad for the servers, they tried their best to keep customers happy but the wait was just extremely long. All the food was very tasty and we enjoyed each of our dishes. Really nice restaurant, just the issue in the kitchen.
Fantastic. So glad my daughter picked it and the staff was able to sneak us in without a reservation. Would love to go back
