Customer Reviews

Wonderful Japanese restaurant. They serve Herr the tornado omelet rice which I haven't encountered anywhere else in Vancouver. Very similar to phones served in Japan. The aburi platter was awesome! There is also this unique robot server! Reminds of the movie Wall-E. Service was fantastic! Everyone makes you feel very welcome! Highly recommended! 2 thumbs up 👍 👍!
Had oshi platter and it was awesome! Scallop oshi was my favorite 😍 Omelette was a bit soggy, but it was okay. Prawn tempura was a bit disappointing though.. it wasn’t really like Japanese tempura. Overall, food was nice and service was good as well.
For a while, I hesitated to visit this place, wary of the unpredictable nature of fusion cuisine, especially at a place known for its eclectic mix of raw fish, omelette, and linguine. I now admit that my reservations were misplaced. This establishment truly deserves acclaim, with offerings like the snapper tempura alone making it a worthwhile destination. It sets itself apart from your typical Japanese restaurant, and this uniqueness is reflected in everything from the artistic interior design to the inventive food preparation. What really shines is their commitment to using fresh ingredients and their meticulous attention to even the smallest details. This visit firmly placed Green Leaf among the top culinary destinations in Burnaby on my personal list.
