Customer Reviews

We had such a great experience at Elias! Authentic Norwegian cuisine in a cozy and fine environment. Many thanks to the kind and attentive staff that took such good care of us and the chefs that cooked our food to perfection! We will be back 🫶🏼
We really liked this restaurant. Despite the initial hesitation of seeing the Facebook and TripAdvisor notes everywhere, giving out a tourist trap vibe… Simple menu of local cuisine and ingredients. We stumbled across this place for lunch and returned for dinner the following day as we enjoyed the food and service. If in Oslo and want to try local dishes you should come here and for dinner reservation is essential. That said you could walk in and put your name down and go across the road for a drink whilst you wait. Reindeer stew was nicely seasoned and the meat was delicious. Turbot was cooked to perfection and the broth seasoned perfectly.
Really loved this traditional Norwegian style restaurant. The reindeer stew was excellent but the salmon was the best we’ve ever had. The drinks were delicious too especially the lingonberry tonic. The strawberry panna cotta was so light and refreshing. Highly recommend.
