The Earls Story: A Legacy of Family and Community
In 1982, Bus and Stan Earl Fuller founded Earls with a simple yet profound vision: to create a warm and welcoming space where friends and family could gather, connect, and make memories. Today, with over 70 locations across North America, Earls remains true to its roots, built on the foundation of family, community, and a passion for bringing people together.
A Family’s Journey
Bus Fuller, a Korean War veteran, began his restaurant journey in Montana, serving local farmers. He later moved to Canada, settling in Edmonton, Alberta, where he owned and operated various restaurants, including A&W franchises and steakhouses. In the 1970s, the family moved to West Vancouver, BC, where Bus and Stan opened their first joint venture, Earls.
A Legacy Lives On
Stan, now CEO, continues to lead Earls alongside President Mark Hladik and his Executive team. Bus’s passing in 2019 at 91 years young has left a lasting impact on the company. His legacy lives on through Earls’ commitment to community, family, and relationships.
