Chef Nils Schneider, the youngest Certified Chef de Cuisine in Canada and a Culinary Consultant based in Calgary, Alberta, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every culinary endeavor. Trained in the classic French tradition, Chef Nils honed his skills as the Executive Chef of Unico in Beijing, where he developed a unique proficiency in Asian cuisine and fermentation techniques. Notably, under his guidance, Unico became the first restaurant in China to achieve OceanWise Certification, a testament to his commitment to sustainability.

His achievements extend beyond the kitchen, with accolades such as winning Gold at the Yi Yin Cup in Beijing and receiving recognition from the University of Guelph’s Food Day Canada.
An advocate for culinary education, Chef Nils is passionate about sharing his knowledge and expertise with aspiring chefs, mentoring them in the nuances of the culinary arts. He is currently involved in developing an educational cooking series for Kart TV, furthering his mission to inspire and educate.
