Customer Reviews

We visited this very nice restaurant months ago for a special business event. So, with the company paying for the dinner, it wasn't too expensive. The food was around EUR 310 and the wine/sake pairings were EUR 150-250 per person. The venue, the décor, the service, the food and the drinks were almost perfect. The tasting menu - seafood, fish and meat - is very fresh, prepared in a style that is natural in taste and high in nutritional value. The food is prepared in front of the guests. About 10 people attend the dinner, which lasts several hours. The door is locked after entry, so as not to disturb casual passers-by. P.S. There is only one thing we strongly dislike about this restaurant, and about the whole of Norway! That is when people kill and eat the beautiful and globally protected marine mammal Whales. Personally, I will never taste even a small piece of Whale or Dolphin for ethical ecological reasons. Recommended to visit. Robertas V.P. CEO, BANQUEINVEST*com
Amazing experience! Each course was amazing and somehow better than the last. Great service, ambiance, explanation of each menu item. The chef + all other employees did a great job, highly recommend.
This experience was nothing short of incredible from start to finish. I dined solo and was a bit anxious about how it might go being such a small room and intimate atmosphere. From the start they welcomed me and what I appreciated most was that they sat me right in the middle so I would not feel left out. It was quite the opposite as by the end of the night i had had a 3 hour conversation with all guests but especially the couple to my right- we even found we knew mutual people! The chef Airis Zapa, with Lithuanian roots, created a warm and inviting atmosphere but also showed great skill and seriousness in his passion for sushi. The food itself was absolutely incredible. The fish to meat to sweet progression was the best I have ever had- not a single detail was missed. The chef explained each ingredient’s origin and allowed space for questions and comments throughout the evening. I would definitely say this meal was one of the best of my life, and certainly the best omakase I have had. I would 1000% recommend to anyone, and may find myself booking a flight back to Oslo just to enjoy this again.
