Customer Reviews

We just loved everything here!!! The food, the drinks, the people, the place, the vibe. We made the reservation a month in advance and most of the slots were already gone. After the visit, we totally understood why it’s a must try. This place is full of history and tradition. We loved the way they served here, honest recommendation, not just trying to take your money. And you could feel they were proud of their own family business. Also just asked them for a recommendation of schnapps. It was fun trying a couple of them. For the food, All the smorrebrod we tried were delicious. If I had to pick 2 (because you’d get very full already after 2), it would be the Greenland shrimp pyramid and the fried fillet of plaice. Awesome. This was the brightest spot of our weekend in CPH
Best place handsdown for authentic Danish food. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations. Accommodating and knowledgeable about gluten-free restrictions, even checking the sauces which goes to show the level of service. On the expensive side but the food was excellent, you get what you pay for.
You should definetely book in advance because the place is packed! Very traditional danish cuisine which was delicious! The staff are so welcoming and warm, even cracking up some jokes. They gave us to try danish liquor on the house. It had an interesting taste, like vodka. Amazing local beer and in general, highly recommend it if you are in Copenhagen!
