Wow! What an incredible experience! Every bite was so meticulously created. Flavors were all spot on and delicate, but powerful. Staff was friendly and kind. None of the signature drinks stood out for me so our thoughtful server, Jordan, suggested something they previously offered on their menu and it was exactly what I was hoping for! They happily accommodated a food allergy. Kudos to Chef and team!
Had the chance to try Burdock & Co the other day and I've gotta say that I was pretty impressed. Had the course menu and from start to finish I was very happy with my experience. Before I get into the food I've got to recommend the wine pairing. Each bottle was thoughtfully picked out and our servers were able to go into depth about the selection of wines. The flavors on the menu were very unique and inspiring. In Vancouver, it seems that many restaurants tend to lean on "Asian flavors". Though there is nothing inherently wrong with that, it was nice to experience something different and more thought provoking. Each dish beautifully presented with each their own distinct characteristics. (Definitely opt in for the Arctic Sourdough Add-on, trust me.) Definitely deserving of their Michelin status.
Food had wonderful complex flavors that went together spectacularly. Presentation is perfect and so is the Wine pairing - best part is the background & info about each wine producer (loved that the majority happened to be women and that some lesser known BC wines were included). Service was impeccable & Georgio, our server was amazing. Thank you!
