Amazing lamb chops from them. Hands down some of the best food I’ve had in Metro Vancouver. This was my second time in the restaurant and I was looking forward to trying the lamb chop again; it did not disappoint. Everything was very flavourful and presented playfully. The chicken was very well cooked and wasn’t too dry. Overall very nice experience and atmosphere, and I would recommend this to anyone visiting to go try it out and experience it for themselves.
Really enjoyed the food at Hydra. We shared the all spread platter, grilled octopus and lamb chop family platter. Delicious food that was perfect for 4 people! It’s set in a hotel with two floors (there’s a spiral staircase to get up to the second floor). On the higher end for pricing and nice for a night out
Came by in a party of four several weeks ago and really loved the look and feel of this restaurant. It was a Saturday evening and noticeably busy and loud, but the service was good. We had a good spread with the highlights being the lamb chops, souvlaki and Atlantic lobster pasta. That lamb was so tender, juicy and grilled to perfection. The lobster’s herbed cherry tomato and white wine sauce was so rich and possibly the best I’ve had in a pasta - I’d definitely recommend that dish - hopefully it would be made in the same style.
